Using some CATV 1/2" Hardline to feed the F9FT and perhap the homebrewed 6m beam.
The 238 (bullet) connector is not modified. It screws into the copper adapter. I will probably use some noloax on this connection. Will sweat the copper pieces together and the brass. The brass sleeve fits very tight on the shild of the CATV cable. I am thinking about using a crimped connection to the sheild of the CATV. In the first pic see the small silver tip with some dielectric around it. This is the tip from a PL259. I pulled it out with some plyers and had to punch the dielectric out with a blunt object from the back. It popped right out. I put these two back together and it will solder to the explosed tip of the hardline. This will fit all the way through the connector into the 238 connector. Once everything is noloaxed and glued together, I am planning to use some of the exterior shrink tubing with the sealer, hopefully this will keep moisture from pentrating.
